Kindergarten cop cast tumor boy3/1/2024 They say never work with animals or children, but this is Arnie (and some of the children actually out-acted him). So there he is, Arnie, the man mountain, surrounded by toddlers and pre-schoolers. She is a teacher in the local school, and with the plan of O’Hara to go undercover as the Kindergarten teacher torpedoed by illness Kimble steps in as the substitute teacher. In order to finalise the case against Crisp, Kimble and his partner Phoebe O’Hara (played actually very well with some excellent comic panache by Pamela Reed) have to travel to the sleepy town of Astoria in Oregon to find Crisp’s ex-wife. Before the obvious pastiche of True Lies and The Last Action Hero, Arnie played John Kimble, a hard line cop from Los Angeles, chasing the drug dealer Cullen Crisp (played to the highest level of stereotypical 80s ˜baddie’ by Richard Tyson). It contains some of his most quotable comedy lines in Arnie film history (I’m the party pooper, It’s not a tumour! and the finest of them all, Who is your daddy, and what does he do?), and perhaps his most idiosyncratic performance. However, Kindergarten Cop, from 1990, the height of Arnie’s powers, seems to have gone slightly ˜under the radar’ (for non-Arnie fanatics at least), probably because of it’s attempt to mix of comedy, drama and action, and therefore not really being properly aligned to any of them.ĭespite the disparate genre though, Kindergarten Cop has become a cult classic for Arnie aficionados “ any film that spawns the funniest soundboard ever created deserves a place in history. ![]() His penchant for comedy also saw him team up with his aesthetically antithetical actor, Danny DeVito in Twins, another highly memorable role. Starting with Commando, he then went on to do some of the finest action films ever put to celluloid, including The Running Man, Total Recall, Terminator 2 and True Lies. My dad is a gynecologist.and he looks at vaginas all day long. The 10 years between 19 were probably Arnold Schwarzenegger’s finest years. Twins: Our mom says that our dad is a real sex machine. My dad, um, is a psychologist.and he helps people that are hurt or lost their feelings. He doesn't have that much hair because.and he.his head is so big that he can't wear any hats. My dad works on computers.and he's, um, the boss of his company. My mom hopes he's going to die real soon. then they give other money back and they give the same amount of money back to my dad. My dad gives money to people that doesn't have money.then people use that money. My dad doesn't do anything since the crash. My dad repairs cars driven by women who are pinheads. What I meant was.you tell me.who is your daddy, and what does he do? Get it? We start right here. The DVD release features production notes, biographies, highlights, theatrical trailer, Dolby sound, full-screen presentation, and optional French and Spanish soundtracks. Upon its release, some people assumed the title meant this is a good movie for little kids, but it isn't. ![]() Penelope Ann Miller is a delight as the love interest, Pamela Reed is wonderful as Arnold's cop partner, old pro Carroll Baker is quite nasty as the villain's evil mother, and Linda Hunt-whose diminutive stature makes for quite a contrast with Schwarzenegger when they share scenes-is entertaining as a tough principal. But Kindergarten Cop is genuinely touching, the story of a hard man who visibly finds his true passion and soul by leaving behind the rot of urban crime. One of the best films of director Ivan Reitman (Dave), this comedy (with some thriller elements) went a long way to further soften and broaden Schwarzenegger's image after Reitman worked with him in the gentle Twins. This winning 1990 comedy stars Arnold Schwarzenegger in an initially self-deprecating role as a grizzled, big-city cop who goes undercover as a small-town kindergarten teacher to nab a killer.
